Beach and Glacier 100m down the road from the hotel the eleven private beaches of Garavan, including the Plage Napoleon and the Glacier Napoleon, are there to welcome you. With the old town of Menton on one side, and on the other the cliff faces of Italy where the Alps flow into the sea, you can relax at the waters' edge in a spectacular setting. At the Napoleon Plage, open from Easter to the 15th October, you can book sun loungers through the hotel reception at a special price. When you're there, Stefano Sari will welcome you to his beach and restaurant which is open for lunch and dinner, offering quality regional cooking with an Italian orientation. The Glacier Napoléon, our Brazilian-style ice cream parlour lets you plunge into a childs' dream world: you serve yourself from 33 flavours of artisanal ice creams and sorbets, add what you like from a hundred or so toppings (Chantilly cream, melted chocolate, fresh fruit, nuts, sweets...) and you pay by weight!
